Embru produces quality furniture with functional design. Form, safety and durability are key factors for us. With the cooperation of architects of the "New Building", Embru demonstrated a pioneering spirit. A cooperation that - to put it bluntly - was not a great economic success, but with which Embru helped to write one of the most important chapters in Swiss design history.
Thus, from 1930 onwards, a diverse range of type furniture was created. It ranged from cantilever chairs in various designs to tables to Swiss style icons such as Alfred Altherr's Landibank or Werner Max Moser's Fauteuil and up to the 2072 couch, better known as the Le-Corbusier couch. Today, some of these models are being produced again by Embru.
