The new Silklack front design from bulthaup enables a seamless transition from surface to edge and creates an extremely pleasant and calm appearance thanks to the matt surface. This is thanks to the three-dimensional coating, which has a rounded microstructure for increased scratch resistance and makes fingerprints virtually invisible.

Silklack consists of an ultra-matt 2-component water-based lacquer and is available in 8 colours.

Together with E15, we are celebrating 30 years of BIGFOOT. The anniversary emphasises its importance as the epitome of a solid wood table and an iconic design for the company. Designed in 1994 by e15 founder and architect Philipp Mainzer, the table is characterised by a radical new simplicity and has shaped contemporary furniture design. BIGFOOT is one of the first tables designed by the young architect Philipp Mainzer while still studying architecture. A year later, in 1995, he founded the company e15 and named it after the postcode of his first workshop in London's East End. The expressive design of BIGFOOT marks the debut of the e15 collection. During this time, Philipp Mainzer also designed the e15 logo: it resembles the square silhouette of the BIGFOOT table leg and is still used today.
